Victorian Chamber Business Recovery Regional Roadshow: Shepparton

Help your business recover from COVID-19 and learn to engage with vendors
The Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with Crown Melbourne, is delivering a roadshow series designed to help support Victorian regional businesses rebuild from COVID-19 and offer advice for suppliers on how to win contracts with large vendors.
Over the month of August, the series will visit major regional centres across Victoria including Ararat, Ballarat, Benalla, Bendigo, the Bellarine Peninsula, Shepparton and Traralgon to provide a series of seminars helping businesses bounce back stronger from the pressures of the pandemic.
The series will include practical information for local farmers, suppliers and producers on how to respond to tenders, the decision-making criteria for large hospitality vendors, and what must be considered from a health and safety perspective.
Crown partners with more than 4000 Australian businesses to deliver the highest quality, locally produced goods and services to their guests.
Crown’s Group General Manager – Procurement and Supply, Ben Briggs, will be joined by Con Barbakas, Victorian Chamber’s Senior Health, Safety and Wellbeing Consultant to provide your business with an overview on:
- how to respond to tenders and the decision criteria procurement typically uses to make decisions on supplier selection
- how to engage with large hospitality and tourism venues, like Crown
- an overview of general business support post-COVID-19, including what small and medium-sized businesses need to consider from a safety perspective when bidding for large contracts
- how to ensure your safety management system meets the standards that large businesses expect
