Nominations have now closed for the 2026 Greater Shepparton Business Excellence Awards, and what an incredible response from our business community!
This year’s nominations have surpassed our previous record, making the 2026 awards bigger than ever (we truly didn’t think it could after last year!) it is a wonderful reflection of the incredible support for Greater Shepparton’s business community.
While the final number of nominations is still being counted and checked against the relevant criteria, we already know that the response has been exceptional.
A huge thank you to everyone who has played a part in making this year’s awards such a success.

What Happens Next?
The work now continues behind the scenes as nominations are carefully reviewed against the relevant judging criteria, with the final nominees to be confirmed shortly.
Once this process is complete, finalists will be contacted, with judging commencing in September.
We know there is plenty of anticipation around who will make the finalist list, but for now, we ask everyone to give us a little time to work through the nominations carefully and ensure the process is fair and thorough for all involved.

From long-established businesses with decades of history to emerging and micro businesses just beginning their journey, the awards provide an opportunity to recognise the incredible diversity, resilience, innovation and contribution of businesses across our region.
We look forward to sharing the 2026 finalists with you and, ultimately, celebrating this year’s winners at the Gala Dinner Presentation Evening on Friday 23 October 2026 at Riverlinks Eastbank.
