THE Shepparton Chamber of Commerce and Industry president, Carl Hainsworth attended the recent Shepp Square event held at Federation Square in Melbourne, and witnessed the success of the event, saying it was an excellent way to promote Shepparton and that Greater Shepparton City Council should be congratulated for their efforts.
With June fast approaching, chamber is finalising details for this year’s White King-Pental 95.3 Triple M Business Awards. Nominations for the illustrious awards will kick off from June and with sponsors back for another big year, chamber is anticipating another fantastic response from local businesses.
In a bid to address the security issues in the main street of Mooroopna, chamber has kicked off a new membership drive in Mooroopna, which it hopes will help to secure government funding to upgrade lighting and make McLennan Street a safer place for businesses and the wider community.
Through the Shepparton Chamber of Commerce and Industry alliance with Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry all members will be given the opportunity to take $200 off any workshop that they sign up for, which is almost 50 percent off in some cases.
Chamber is planning to work with Greater Shepparton City Council to bring a range of end of financial year attractions to the CBD, to help draw the community in and enjoy Shepparton’s CBD.
