The Med-Con story is a fantastic story, which I am sure you would enjoy, the story of dismantling an old run down machine, CAD drawing the parts and assembling again, hoping all the time it would work ( with no instruction manual for a 30 yo machine) all in the midst of a pandemic… this story reached the world, Turkey/New York and many places.. its truly inspiring.
Robert Giles, CEO, SPC/Ardmona
Shepparton Preserving Company (SPC) is a Shepparton Icon, and a major employer, not just seasonal. SPC has moved into the ready food market, with nutrient dense, fresh wholesome food “sourced locally” primarily into the aged care and health sectors. For the 2021 season, SPC is expecting to increase its local fruit sourced by 70% from local growers, that’s an extra 20,000 tonnes for the season.
Peter Hill, CEO, Kreskas Brothers
The Kreskas Bros Transport – third generation orchardists, who now employ 85+ people and are the largest carriers by road to the Port of Melbourne another wonderful story that our community can be proud of. Many local manufacturers either use Kreskas to import or export product to the world, (including SPC & Med-Con) utilising the Kreskas Brothers trucks.
All three of our speakers are looking forward to 2021 and are looking forward to sharing their vision of the Goulburn Valley and Greater Shepparton region.

Matt Nelson, General Manager, Hume Division, Department Jobs Precincts & Regions
Matt has an amazing knowledge of businesses in Shepparton and the Goulburn Valley and will provide a summary of the GV and how we have managed during 2020, with a look into expectations for 2021. We have a lot to be proud of.
