DESCRIPTION: \nDo you have an opinion about free parking? \nDo you have an opinion on how our new Maude Street will function? \nCome and listen to what Steve Burgess has to say!! \nThis is an event you can’t afford to miss as this can be about your future!! \n  \nGreater Shepparton City Council and the Shepparton Chamber of Commerce and Industry are inviting Steve Burgess\, a transport engineer and urban strategist with 30 years’ experience\, to host a breakfast workshop for the Greater Shepparton business community to explore opportunities to engage and leverage from the space around them including small town main streets and the highly anticipated Maude Street Mall redevelopment. \nThe business community and broader citizens of Greater Shepparton all have a role to play for the future growth of the region. Many people are moving from larger cities\, the upcoming Maude Street Mall redevelopment and influx of visitation are all great opportunities. Discuss with Steve how to manage the growth\, use infrastructure and funding wisely to set up a prosperous regional city. \nThe session will cover city structure\, city centre activity\, investment and development\, movement and parking and long-term prosperity. \nAuthor of ‘Complete Streets – Guidelines to Urban Street Design’ 2010. \nJoin us for this FREE event.
