Optus Announces a $15,000 Small Business Grant in Partnership with the Shepparton Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Optus Business has partnered with Shepparton Chamber of Commerce and Industry to award up to 5 Shepparton Chamber Member businesses with a share of a $15,000 grant to create customisable and flexible technology solutions from Optus Business Plus to meet the unique evolving needs of the Australian business market.
The grant is part of a wider program from Optus Business to deliver $60,000 to Australian SMBs to support the implementation of technology that will increase flexibility through modularisation.
Optus Business Plus gives Australian business owners the opportunity to stop compromising on technology solutions and achieve more flexibility through freedom and modularity.

To enter, businesses need to be:
1) A current Financial Member of the Shepparton Chamber of Commerce and Industry
2) An Optus business customer (or willing to become one);
3) An eligible Small Medium Enterprise (SME) with less than 300 Full-Time Employees;
4) Answer in 100 words or less how your business could utilise this grant.

* The Shepparton Chamber of Commerce and Industry will select the winners based on business eligibility, key application questions and criteria.
* The winners agree to have their photographs taken and be used through Optus marketing and to meet with the Optus Business Centre Victoria Regional North.
* All data collected will be shared with a third party for marketing purposes if successful.
* Applicant is a company incorporated in Australia with an active Australian Business Number (ABN)
* Applicant is registered for Goods and Services Tax (GST)

Just a reminder that councils Access & Inclusion Grants are now open and due to close on March 31st.
Access & Inclusion Grant
The objectives of the Access & Inclusion Grant are to:
- Support business owners, community organisations and not for profit groups to make their premises more accessible for people with disabilities.
- Improve access to businesses and community buildings for people with disabilities and their families.
- Promote Greater Shepparton as an accessible and attractive place to work, live, visit for people with disabilities.
- Attract new investment opportunities and support business growth and promotion accessible tourism.
- Encourage business owners, community groups, and not for profit groups to be more accessible for people with a disability and their families.

Visitor Experience Innovation Grants Round 4
There are now two streams of grant funding available:
– Minor up to $5,000 ($1:$1 matching required)
– Major up to $10,000 ($2:$1 matching required)
Non-traditional tourism businesses are encouraged to also think about how these grants may be relevant. Farm gate experiences, wellness tourism, event suppliers and contractors, retail who have a direct link to local produce, hospitality and boutique food production sectors are all part of the guidelines enabling a wider breadth of businesses within visitor economy to be able to apply and increase the visitor experience within the region.
